HOW TO WATCH: MarchFourth Broadcast on 9/21/2013

This event is being broadcasted live from Bossanova Ballroom in Portland, OR (USA).  The only way to watch is to purchase a broadcast ticket in advance (see link below).

The broadcast will begin Saturday, September 21st at 8:00 PM (PDT; UTC - 7 hours).

Anyone who purchases the following ticket for the MarchFourth Marching Band show (9/21/13 @ Bossanova Ballroom in Portland, OR) will be sent details via email, at least THREE DAYS PRIOR to the event, explaining how to watch the live broadcast of the event...

IMPORTANT:  This ticket is NOT VALID FOR ADMISSION to the venue, to attend the event in person!  It's ONLY valid to watch the BROADCAST over the internet, via the web browser on your computer or other connected device.

Live HD Webcast | NO ADMISSION

Details at AFTONTV.COM: If you can't attend, this ticket lets you watch the live HD broadcast of the event on computer, smartphone, tablet, or Apple TV.


We recommend viewing Afton TV broadcasts from a wired connection with a download bandwidth of at least 700Kbps. However higher speeds may allow you to view the broadcast at a higher or more consistent quality. To test your speed, go to Bandwidth fluctuates constantly (especially on WiFi and mobile internet), so running 3 tests is recommended. As a general rule your download bandwidth must be greater than 700Kbps to be able to watch at HD quality.

Computer (Windows or Mac OS X)

One of the following modern web browsers is required:
  • Chrome 9 or higher
  • Firefox 4 or higher
  • Internet Explorer 9 or higher
  • Safari 5.1 or higher

Always use the latest version of Adobe Flash. Check your version of Adobe Flash (and upgrade if necessary) at the following link: We recommend upgrading to the latest version of Java:


Smartphone or Tablet (iPhone/iPod/iPad or Android)

You will need Mobile Safari on iPhone/iPod/iPad and Chrome on Android.  Watching the live broadcast will use a significant amount of data (carrier charges may apply for cellular data devices), so connect via WiFi if possible. 

Apple TV

To watch a broadcast on your Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation only), you simply start the broadcast on your Mac (OS X Mountain Lion or newer) or iOS device, and then use AirPlay ( to send the video to your Apple TV box.
